His best feat in my humble opinion was reacting to Bellamy, but it's not like Luffy could hit him right away. Luffy is a casual explosion timer, but considering that these were gunpowder based explosions, that's not exactly impressive compared to Gon.
I'm sorry, but Luffy simply has no speed feats on this level of impressiveness and that is done anywhere near as casually, at least not pre time skip. This cements Adult Gon at casually high hypersonic as this feat was accomplished with very little effort when Gon wasn't even use to his substantially increased power.

This is impressive because, even without using the enhancement technique Pitou used against Adult Gon in the scene above, Pitou can still move at hypersonic speeds with her lunges, as can be seen with the hypersonic cones forming around her body as she is moving. Having just transformed into his adult form, Gon is still able to effortlessly move massively FTE to Pitou's lunge, moving to the other side of the building before Pitou could finish moving a few feet. Gon only has one movement and travel speed feat I need to use that cements him as Luffy's superior in speed. Thus, this feat isn't as impressive as many give it credit for. Not only was it a pretty small island (I mean a castle takes up a sizable area of the island), but Moriah had also lost a significant amount of shadows after his island splitting feat and before he hit Luffy. Luffy's best feat of durability was tanking a punch from Moriah that split the island of Thriller Bark. Having just finished reading pre time skip One Piece, Luffy's durability shouldn't make it hard for Gon to deal damage to Luffy.

Hell we see her free falling through clouds in that same scene.Īll in all, this is a very impressive feat from Gon that Luffy will definitely be sustaining heavy damage from if we are being honest. In the freeze frame below, we get a perspective shot of just how high Pitou is, even above clouds. That is an insane amount of time for someone to be free falling, and this was accomplished from just one kick from Gon. It took her 18 seconds from the time we see her first start falling to the time we see Gon punch her, or in other words, the time she had almost reached the ground. What makes this feat impressive was how long it took Pitou to fall, which the anime captures perfectly in the scene below:
This kick dealt heavy damage to Pitou and left her completely vulnerable to a follow up Jajanken. Gon's first and last showing of strength was when he kicked the Royal Guard, Neferpitou, hundreds of feet into the air. For now, I will discuss Gon's baseline stats, which is very impressive. In terms of strength, I will save the Jajanken for the "Jajanken" part of this section. His power is immense and by himself, I have no doubt he could give Luffy one hell of a fight pre time skip, as I will prove in this section: Physicalsīeing a brick, physicality is one of Gon's most important aspects. to get as much of an “understanding” of objective reality as possible, to deal with it comfortably! A good theory is the one that can cover as much of this data, as well as future possible ones (predictability).Gon's most powerful form, Adult Gon will serve as the primary brick of the team. What man at best can do, is to organize this data through his subjective thought, mental tools, logical schemata, mathematical (geometrical, algebraic, symmetry) structures and representations, logical categories, theories etc. The only thing man can do (Kant posited) is to use his sense perceptions, experimental data, his thought, imagination, fantasy or whatever subjective data he can gather about the objective reality to get on with life. The Kantian premise is that objective reality is a messy, chaotic, unwieldy and unknowable thing-in-itself because it does not follow the pristine precincts of good old commonsense, causality, formal logic and the notions of rationality that have been developed by philosophers starting from the early Greeks.
